MDT METAL AICS SHORT ACTION MAGAZINE

The MDT metal magazines are made from high-strength steel and are nitride treated for ultimate durability.

The Short Action Magazines are suitable for the .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor families, available in 5-shot or 10-shot versions.

The 10-shot magazines are available with or without a binder plate and, thanks to their special design, are approximately 2 cm shorter than other AICS-type magazines, for easier magazine changes when shooting prone.

5 round magazine for .308:

• 3.055” (7.76 cm) outside length
• 2,870” (7.29 cm) COAL with Binder Plate
• 2,960” (7.52 cm) COAL without Binder Plate (see limitations below)
• 2.52” (6.4cm) rear height

7 round magazine for .300WSM:

• 300 WSM, 6.5 PRC, 7 RSAUM
• 2,955″ COAL

10 round magazine for .308:

• 3.055” (7.76 cm) outside length
• 2,870” (7.29 cm) COAL with Binder Plate
• 2,960” (7.52 cm) COAL without Binder Plate (see limitations below)
• 3.90” (9.91 cm) rear height

Binder plate details:

• Binder plate magazines are compatible with all weapons that use AICS magazine bases or chassis systems.

Maximum cartridge length (COAL) for this magazine type: 2,870″

• Magazines without a binder plate are suitable for longer cartridges (maximum 2.960″). Compatible with all AICS magazine bases and chassis systems, although certain modifications to the receiver are sometimes necessary (notching the feed ramp) so that the bullet tip does not get stuck on the feed ramp
